Areas of Focus
Areas of Focus represent client populations, conditions, and treatment approaches in which a clinician has chosen to deepen their knowledge through ongoing education and training. They are intended to help prospective clients better understand the clinician’s professional interests and the types of services they are well-equipped to provide.
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a structured therapy that encourages the client to briefly focus on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories.
Perinatal Mental Health

Perinatal mental health refers to the mental health of individuals during pregnancy and the postpartum period. It encompasses a range of emotional and psychological experiences that individuals may encounter during this time, including mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. Perinatal mental health issues can affect both expectant parents and new parents, and they can vary in severity, from mild to severe conditions.
Behavioral Health for Service Members & Veterans

Our licensed counselors received advanced training on military culture, the deployment cycle, and treatments that have shown to be effective with military-connected clients.
Holistic Approach

Incorporates evidence-based therapeutic approaches with nutrition, diet, exercise, spiritual practices, stress management, relaxation strategies, and healthy sleep hygiene practices to manage overall mental health and wellness.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain

CBT-CP is a structured, goal-oriented psychological intervention designed to reduce the functional and emotional impact of persistent pain. Using evidence-based strategies, individuals learn to change how the brain interprets and responds to pain signals, improving coping, daily functioning, and overall quality of life.
Mental Health & Substance Use (co-occurring)

Treatment for individuals experiencing both mental health and substance use disorders. An integrated approach is used to address how these conditions interact, with the goal of improving emotional regulation, reducing substance use, and supporting long-term recovery and stability.
Post-Acute Behavioral Health Support

Non-crisis, step-down behavioral health support for individuals transitioning from higher levels of care (inpatient, partial hospitalization, or intensive outpatient programs) with emphasis on continued stabilization and safety planning.
