Basic Consultation (Over-the-phone)

(by appointment only)

Duration:  up to 15 minutes

Payment is due at the time of scheduling

Description:  A basic mental health consultation is a brief, introductory meeting designed to help you explore whether counseling is a good fit for your needs. During this consultation, the therapist will introduce themselves, share their background, and provide an overview of the services they offer. You’ll be invited to discuss why you’re seeking support, the challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to gain from therapy. The therapist will help you determine whether their approach aligns with your needs and will explain how therapy typically works within their practice, including scheduling, frequency, fees, and the types of services provided. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any general questions you may have about the therapy process, confidentiality, insurance, or related topics. If you decide to move forward, the therapist will guide you on how to schedule a full intake session and complete the necessary paperwork to begin services.

$100

Comprehensive Consultation (Over-the-Phone or Virtual)

(by appointment only)

Duration:  up to 45 minutes

Payment is due at the time of scheduling

Description:  A comprehensive mental health consultation includes everything offered in the basic consultation, with the added benefit of a structured screening process to help clarify your current mental health needs. In addition to learning about the therapist, discussing your reasons for seeking support, and reviewing how therapy works, you will complete a set of evidence-based mental health screeners—typically focused on trauma, depression, and anxiety. These assessments will be provided to you in advance, and during your consultation, the therapist will review the results with you, offering a clear interpretation of your scores and what they may indicate. You’ll receive a personalized Screening Summary Report that outlines your presenting concerns, highlights key findings from the assessments, and offers professional recommendations for next steps in your treatment journey. Please note that this service is not a substitute for a formal diagnostic psychological evaluation—it is intended as a brief screening to help guide your understanding of your mental health and point you toward appropriate support.
